MEGAN ANDREWS
Megan Andrews is an artist based in Windsor, Ontario. Her current work is informed by combining painting with her experiences in studying carpentry. Working with shaped wood panels, she works selectively with the natural forms and textures of the material in approaching them as painting supports. She combines various painting strategies and techniques to create works that respond to the material as well as her playful investigations of colour as a subject. She draws from varied sources like theatrical set design and the aesthetics of fingernail painting.
After the completion of her BFA, she will take some time to further develop her practice before engaging in further studies.

JAMES PHAM
James Pham is an artist and illustrator from Toronto, Ontario. He works mainly in digital media, informed by a solid foundation in traditional painting and drawing mediums. Fascinated by storytelling and the creation of visual narratives, his work focuses on character portraits, and landscapes drawing inspiration from aesthetics and world-building in video games, anime, and other visual media. His work blends his array of influences to create and present a unique vision of an invented world that he wants to share through his practice.
He is working towards the creation of a graphic novel and continuing to develop his studio practice.

EMMA SORRELL
Emma Sorrell is an artist based in Windsor, Ontario. Her practice is inventive, explorative, and process-oriented; centered around relationships between contrasting materials and figurative subjects. She works primarily with wood veneer and acrylic paint, blending the craft discipline of marquetry with painting to create a hybridized media.
She hopes to complete an internship with the Art Gallery of Windsor to expand her knowledge of curation and gallery direction. Following the completion of her BFA, she will take time to explore and develop her studio practice. Her future includes using her skills to establish a creative business.

COURTNEY ELLS
Courtney Ells is a Windsor based visual artist who is currently completing a bachelor’s degree is Visual Arts at the University of Windsor. Courtney has been immersed in the practice of painting from childhood leading up to her current and primary practice in oil painting. Courtney focuses on themes of women, the female body, and representation of the female form throughout history. Her current body of work aims to critique contemporary themes surrounding the female body by depicting the female form in a number of situations and poses.

TREVOR PALLISCO
Trevor Pallisco is an artist from Windsor, Ontario. He works with sculpture, painting, and drawing - often in combination. Trevor’s practice is process oriented, he experiments with materials, tools, and techniques using rust, metal, car parts, and wood. Landscape is a common subject as is doodling and linework which involve fast gestural movements. Trevor plans to continue his art practice and work before considering further studies in the automotive field.

SYDNEY GARROD
Sydney Garrod is an artist based in Windsor, Ontario. Her current practice is digital art and uses a combination of bold colours and lighthearted imagery. She is hoping to continue her practice to earn a license in Art Therapy and spread the love of art and the ability to express feelings within the practice of it.

MADELEINE MARENTETTE
Madeleine Marentette is an artist based in Windsor, Ontario. She primarily works within digital mediums creating cheeky and obscene works of art. Encrypting her subconscious thoughts, she uses humor and humility to create bright and bubbly character-based pieces. She is completing her BFA in visual arts with a background in psychology in hopes of furthering her education within the field of Art Therapy.

JACKSON PIJL
Jackson Pijl is an artist originally from Welland, Ontario currently. Working in a variety of mediums, Jackson is currently working in illustration, textiles and printmaking practices. Her work mainly centres around aspects of storytelling and alternate perspectives of life.
Her current work, Jeffrey, is about a ghost living in Limbo; a place attached to the living realm. Jeffrey has no memory of past or current lives, but his story is told on his body, through images of memories and tattoos of his favourite things.
She plans on continuing her education to become a high-school art and history teacher, as well as continuing her art practice with printmaking and textiles. She also wants to continue her art education with overseas artist residencies.

ALEXA ZHANG, EXHIBITION COORDINATOR
Alexa Zhang is an Arts Management student from Mississauga, Ontario. She studied at Ryerson University for a year in Creative Industries and Sheridan College in Art Fundamentals. She is passionate about sustainable art that addresses social and environmental topics, and is hoping to incorporate that into her curation career. Alexa enjoys editorial fashion photography, film making, design, and visual arts. She was awarded with Honors in both Media Arts and The World of Fashion in 2017 and 2018. This summer, Alexa plans to launch her first business ASZ Creative with SummerCompany as a creative individual in Dresden, ON.
